Norwalk High students who complete one or more Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Computer Science courses qualify to sit for a number of CompTIA information technology exams at a generously discounted rate. When students pass an exam, CompTIA issues an industry certification that demonstrates mastery and they are widely recognized in the IT sector.

Oracle Academy

As an Oracle Academy member, Norwalk High is eligible to use instructor-led curricula and online courses developed exclusively by and for Oracle University (OU) - Oracle's corporate training division. Oracle Academy faculty members are invited to integrate curriculum materials and online courses into any class within a secondary school, diploma or degree-granting program and delivered for degree credit. 

Use of the Oracle Academy curriculum will introduce Oracle Academy students to the requirements and rigor of Oracle certification and provide the opportunity to engage the Oracle certification pathway towards completion of the Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) and Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) designations. Our objective is to help educators introduce Oracle skills as a marketable enhancement to a broader program of study.
